The Rotomachinery Group Expand its Production Capacity in North America

SHERBROOKE (QC) CANADA — We are glad that last year has finished with an additional 9.000 sq.ft. (800 sq. m.) of production space in our Canadian site of Sherbrooke (QC), 70 miles east of Montreal.

Mr. Pierluigi Sacchi, president of the Rotomachinery Group reports: “This is another step forward in our investment program in North America. This expansion allows more efficient work conditions and organization, and helps with the logistics, and increases our production output by shortening lead times. The technical department works in a closer contact with the technicians in the shop and the after-sales service has been enhanced by further investing in people and media for remote assistance, further improving the customer’s experience.”

The 25,000 sq. ft. (2,400 sq. m.) facility now employs about 30 people with a network of local trusted sub-contractors and it can now assemble and test up to three machines at the same time. The Rotomachinery Group produces the full range of machines for the rotational molding industry including: carousel; shuttle; rock and roll; lab machines; and all the accessories for advanced rotomolding.

Pierluigi Sacchi: “The sizes of the machines are increasing and our design, technology, and accurate control of the process allows us to offer plants with relatively low energy consumption. We have recently tested a very large rock and roll unit (oven size 24 x 12 ½ feet or 7.3 x 3.8 meters) for a market leader in Australia, capable of producing very large parts with less gas consumption than most bi-axial machines.”

The Rotomachinery Group also welcomes Matthew Tornow as Sales Area Manager in charge of the U.S. market. Matthew has a solid background in rotomolding technology and processing. He is enthusiastic in assisting customers in realizing the full potential of their projects by determining the most suitable equipment for the application.
